It's been more than a month since the interiors special issue of i-on (Scotland's largest lifestyle magazine) I edited came out, but such is the hecticness of life I haven't had a chance to blog about it yet. If you'd like to have a flick through the online version of the mag, click HERE.
Editing this magazine was a hefty tick off the old bucket list: not only did I get to edit a print mag, but it was (mostly) about interiors. The cover is also special to me. I conceived this fashion-meets-furniture concept just a couple of weeks before the magazine was due to go to press. Luckily, everyone I asked to take part agreed straightaway and with enthusiasm, and did an amazing job in helping the shoot come together. Big thanks go to Susie Lowe for taking the fab photo, fashion blogger Joan Collins (yes, really) for being an excellent model, amazing make-up artist Mairi Gordon for Joan's spring-bright look, and Bluebellgray for providing the beautiful Wee Rothesay fabric backdrop AND making up a dress in the same fabric especially for this shoot.
This was also the issue in which I got to publish my review of one of the most picture-perfect, relaxing hotels I've ever stayed at, Thyme in the Cotswolds - see feature below and click HERE for my longer blog post review and loads more photos by Susie...
